Reading a status page
This page is for visitors of a status page — the people checking whether a service is working.
The overall banner
At the top, a single line tells you the big picture — for example "All systems operational" or a warning that some services are affected. Color reinforces it (green = fine, amber = degraded, red = down).
Components
Below the banner, individual components show the status of each part of the service, often grouped into sections (products). Common states:
| State | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| Operational | Working normally. |
| Degraded | Working, but slow or partially impaired. |
| Down | Not working right now. |
| Maintenance | Temporarily offline for planned work. |
Incidents
If something is wrong, an incident appears with updates over time. Read the latest update at the top for the current situation, and scroll down for the history of what happened.
Maintenance
Planned work shows as scheduled maintenance with a time window, so expected downtime is announced in advance rather than being a surprise.
History
Most pages show an uptime history so you can see whether problems are new or ongoing.
